Les Apprentis, c’est le vin de nos deux stagiaires, Julie et Cédric. On leur a donné comme mission de faire un vin avec les deux rangs de cabernet franc que nous avons dans la parcelle Belvédère. Puisqu’il y avait trop peu de cabernet pour compléter une barrique, ils ont fait un assemblage plutôt rare, mais au final, délicieux : cabernet franc et pinot noir.
Our ‘21 harvest interns, Julie and Cedric, were tasked to make a wine of their own using the two sole rows of cabernet franc in the Belvédère plot. These were really nice grapes, but unfortunately, there were too few for a full barrel so the wine was blended with pinot noir. An unusual yet suprisingly delicious blend.
